Our water and salt durability tests provide the opportunity to assess and enhance the longevity, reliability, and safety of vehicles and their components under extreme environmental conditions. For instance, tests can be conducted on the functionality of sensors and electronic systems when exposed to water to ensure their performance. We investigate the effects of saltwater on brake systems and suspension components, as well as the stress placed on electrical and electronic systems due to salty air. Special attention is given to testing seals and junctions under corrosive conditions, which is especially relevant for the development of vehicles operating in coastal areas or regions with frequent use of road salt.
