Another highlight of our comprehensive durability test portfolio is the sand tunnel. It provides a unique environment for demanding tests, such as dust-proof tests for the body, doors, and windows. It also allows the evaluation of the performance of windshield wipers and headlights under sandy and dusty conditions. Filtration tests are conducted to check the efficiency of air filtration systems. Additionally, the functionality and efficiency of air conditioning systems, the reliability of electronic components and sensors, and the performance of cooling systems are tested. Manufacturers of off-road vehicles particularly often use the sand tunnel for their tests.
