An additional feature of our comprehensive durability testing portfolio is the mud passage. This test section is particularly relevant for off-road vehicles, SUVs, and other vehicles designed for use in challenging terrains. Here, we assist manufacturers in optimizing the performance, safety, and reliability of their vehicles under muddy and slippery conditions. In addition to traction and handling tests on slippery surfaces, our tests also include contamination analysis of the body, undercarriage, and wheel arches, as well as evaluating the effectiveness of protective measures. Sealing tests, sensor and brake tests, and corrosion assessments are also conducted. Furthermore, we evaluate the performance of windshield wipers, headlight cleaning systems, and other cleaning systems.
