The long straight section allows vehicles to be tested at sustained maximum speeds over extended periods, enabling the assessment of their acceleration and braking performance from high speeds. This track is perfect for rapid lane changes at high speeds, automated driving tests, safety systems like ESP, and, of course, braking tests. The long straight opens into a funnel-shaped 300 m skid pad, providing ideal conditions for tire assessments and other tests.
