In our Test Center, we combine cutting-edge technology and expertise to develop and perfect the vehicles of tomorrow. In addition to our test tracks, our state-of-the-art facilities provide a comprehensive infrastructure for holistic vehicle testing and development. From highly specialized workshops to extreme condition simulations, our Test Center covers every aspect of vehicle testing.
The centerpiece of our facility is the extensive Propulsion Test Center. Equipped with a variety of specialized test benches, we can test and optimize all propulsion concepts – from conventional internal combustion engines to groundbreaking electric and hybrid drives – under realistic conditions.
Our facilities stand for innovation, precision, and reliability. Here, we lay the foundation for the mobility of the future by rigorously testing vehicle technologies under the most demanding conditions.

Simulate extreme temperatures and humidity regardless of the weather
Climate chambers & cooling containers
By being able to control environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity, weaknesses can be identified and addressed at an early stage. Our facilities allow testing of critical systems like batteries, onboard systems, and seals under full load.

Future-proofing on the test bench
Propulsion Test Center
Development and testing of conventional and new propulsion technologies – ready for Euro 7. Here, we perform detailed measurements of the performance, efficiency, and emissions of propulsion systems under controlled and reproducible conditions.

Diverse FWD / AWD test benches
- High temperature ranges -30°C to +50°C
- Partially with sun simulation (SC03, AC17)
- Altitude climate chamber (-275 m up to 5.000 m)
- Compliance with EU6 and EU7 standards (PN10, NH3, N2O)


SOAK chamber
- Up to 30 vehicle parking spaces

VT-SHED Chamber
- Detection of fuel evaporation under realistic conditions
- Testing according to global emission regulations (WLTP, US, CARB, China)
- Development and homologation according to Euro 6d temp standards
- Maximum vehicle height: 2.0 m, maximum vehicle length: 5.7 m
- Simulation of a summer day (24 hours, 20°C to 42°C)
PEMS – Portable Emission Measurement System
- 4 AVL PEMS inclusive PN and EFM
- OBD/CAN interface dearborn
- Temperature range -10 to +45°C
- Speed on public roads up to 130 km/h and on the test site up to 180 km/h
- CARDEA in-situ exhaust gas analyzer (in-house development) for test benches and real-world driving. A compact, mobile device for robust measurements to determine real emissions

DAkkS Accreditation
- The emissions laboratory in the Test Center is accredited by DAkkS according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018. The laboratory for testing engine/pollutant emissions has received accreditation from DAkkS in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018. This accreditation provides official confirmation that the laboratory conducts tests in compliance with standards under the registration number: D-PL-21610-01-02, as part of development, validation, and homologation activities.
- DAkkS, as the national accreditation body of the Federal Republic of Germany, confirms the technical suitability and competence of SEGULA Technologies’ test laboratories as part of the accreditation process, while taking into account legal and normative requirements. This also ensures that the testing services are provided at an internationally comparable level.

Conventional and alternative refueling options on a single site
Our refueling and charging infrastructure
Around our building area, you will find numerous options to refuel your vehicle.
Unique in a Test Center: The 400 kW High Performance Charger. It was put into operation in early 2024 and offers 2x CCS2 voltage from 150 V to 1,000 V system power, as well as 1,200 A DC power ranging from 100 kW to 400 kW.
